On January 11, 2022, A-test Compliance  Services(Taipei) Co., Ltd. was formally established. Many partners of Atest in Taiwan came to the scene to witness the launch of Atest Taipei Company.

      Atest Taipei will focus on the mandatory certification of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the mandatory certification of the Indian Telecommunications Engineering Center (TEC), to provide customers with a full range of consulting and services for electronic and information technology, communication equipment products, etc.

About India Certification

The Indian government has a strict censorship system for electronic and IT products imported from China. On April 1, 2020, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) issued a decree on new controlled products and announced the fourth batch of "Electronic and Information Technology Products (Compulsory) Registration requirements) 2012 Decree" product catalog, adding 12 products, including 2 LED lighting products, 5 information products, 3 audio-visual products and 2 home appliances, involving lighting, keyboards, Bluetooth headsets, USB external Hard drives, induction cookers, rice cookers, etc.

Up to now, India has included 56 information, home appliances, audio-visual, and lighting products into the mandatory registration requirements. For these products, the law requires that the corresponding standards must be tested and registered in a laboratory accredited by India's BIS, and accepted by BIS auditors. Factory inspection, the BIS logo is affixed to the product body or outer packaging, etc.
