VCCI is Japan's electromagnetic compatibility certification mark and is managed by the Voluntary Control Council for Interference by Information Technology Equipment in Japan. VCCI certification is optional, but information technology products sold in Japan are generally required to undergo VCCI certification. Manufacturers should apply to become VCCI members before they can use the VCCI logo. In order to obtain VCCI's approval, the EMI test report provided must be issued by VCCI registered accredited testing organizations. Japan currently does not have standards for immunity.
