Overview | IC is the abbreviation of Industry Canada. It is responsible for the authentication errors of electronic and electrical products entering the Canadian market. Similar to the FCC in the United States, ICs currently only limit electromagnetic interference. General Requirement: Only EMI is mandatory. The authentication method is the same as that of FCC. It can be self-verification, conformity statement, and Certification. IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6 digits) + UPW (UniqLle Product Number, up to 8 digits) Free application, but must have Canadian representative address information. IC certification does not require factory inspections. |
